yep got it today...its fookin top notch compared to whats on it already..only holes where there should be!
would use more of it but its had a front ender at some point & a VERY bad repair, no wonder it got broken up!
Thankfully everything we already have from the centre chassis forward is all good except a small weld on an outrigger

Now its a race with G-Man to the MOT station!

hardly all he has to do is get his half chassis welded to the front... and he is getting it done for him, i am building the entire vehicle on me own ( with a little help from me brother who is 14!)

May be worth getting the number plate valued.... you cant get an A plate, 2 digit PJO from DVLA. My A63J** was valued at £600 a few years ago. Plenty of Peter James Owen's about. Just a thought.... dont tell the missus!
 
New chassis ready to be cut.stripped off the tank and remaining bushes.then its off to the blasters and stripping the axle and suspension off of the original
 
no pics as everything still pretty much looks the same...this weekend Ive prepped for the chassis swap next week...taken off
stabiliser bar
tow bar
fuel tank
brake lines
looms
shocks

and cracked off all remaining nuts so that the axle isnt quite falling off!!

SOOOOOOOOO glad i bought a cordless impact gun
 
Today I purchased...
130 rear springs
rear shocks
poly bush kit
masses of washers, nuts & bolts in varying sizes
spring retainers

now i can just chuck the old crap in the scrap heap & replace with new as we go while replacing the rear half of the chassis...
 
cos them cheaper than HD 110 ones & standard 130's are the same as HD 110 ones...so he said at Mr Paddock
 
hahahahahahahahahahahahaha last time i phoned paddocks i had to explame what an outrigger was!
