Sorry I thought we were talking about external mods here but anyhoo
what part of those made it stand out from the crowd? (unless you sit in the car park blasting tunes with your bonnet up for the world to see). the only things you would see are tints and possibly the brakes depending on what wheels you have both of which can actually be assumed as safety/security as well as modifications.
£20,000 of mods + a skyline would have got you at the least a TVR, although not a hypercar looks a damn site better than a tuned family saloon and prob just as quick and I dont think they took any of their inspiration from morrette or ripspeed either.
Sold my Tamora cos i couldnt drive it in the snow..bought a FQ 400, police followed me everywhere..now iv got the rangy.
The skyline was immence but i averaged about 10 mpg. The TVR was awsome ( iv also owned a cerb ) but not suitable for the 450 mile journey i do to get to work ( nottingham to Aberdeen ). My point is..i know a few things about modding and supercars.
IV had Twin Turbo Esprit, an elise 2 135r, 2 porsches ( boxster s and a C2), Skyline gtr modded, 2evos both modded, Honda s2000, E46 M3, Z4, X5 (lpg), rs turbo, Tamora, Cerb. Oh and a RR l322 td6 with a aftermarket chip (modded)
