Hi sometimes when I park up and try to lock the car with the remote nothing happens. I have to first press the unlock button and then press the lock. It works then.

Is this a common problem? It doesn't always do it.

Hi don't worry your not alone, I have this problem every now and then, just got use to it

I think I found out why. My locks lock and unlock by themselves sometimes while driving. Although the "button" on the driver's door never goes down. I am presuming that the car thinks it is already locked so will not lock again.

I will have to keep an eye on the passenger door button thing to see if it is up or down when I try to lock.

Hi, I have the same problem with mine (P38), i found out the reason for mine, if you look into the ignition there is a ball that moves as you put the key in, if the ball sticks as you remove the key it thinks the key is still in there and wont lock, if you put the key back in and move it so the ball frees off then close the door it locks first time,
