For the people that wanted to know how it goes, have had a phone call this morning from my local lr mainstealer and apparently my key has arrived and I'm booked in to get it sorted on Monday ( fingers crossed)
I thought that, and had been told that, my key cover covers the cost anyway and gives me a couple of hours doss away from work so not really complaining and there's a good motocross shop juts round the corner from the dealer so win winIt shouldn't need booking in, the key is ready to go just need syncing with your motor which is not a dealer job, if they try and charger you for antthing more than just supplying the key tell them to do one, no coding to the car needed.
Indeed certainly can't complain once I've been and got my new one sorted will send my existing key for repair and hopefully end up with a spareGood result mate
