Why would you want to change it ? If you alter the pump timing from standard you will just end up with the check engine lamp on.
 
Did it come out of another RR?? and have you checked all the connections??
 
cant remember exact wording but on wathing live data the tolerances were way out between the fly wheel sensor and injection.
 
Not done the swap from BMW before,but if it ran OK in the car it should be OK in the RR.I think checking the crank sensor and the tangs it reads from would be a good start.Was it showing the timing modulation all over the place,or just a high or low value ?
 
i was told the tolerances between the two should be 0.5?,mine was a lot higher than that,also told the pump may be different on the bm engine ?.
