As per the title really, how much is it likely to cost me to convert over from air springs to coil springs, roughly?

Has anyone else done this?

And what are your thoughts about it?

Depends if you are doing it yourself or not, and other factors like what kit you buy and whether some of your EAS components are in good enough nick to sell on
I fitted my kit myself and actually sold all my bits for about the same money as the kit cost
Best move I ever made - handling is much better on coils IMHO
Someone will be along in a minute though to tell you that you are the spawn of Satan for even contemplating such a move

I'm just weighing up the pros and cons at the moment, getting my feelers out as they say.

Yes I have an EAS fault displaying and I'm riding on those ever so comfy bump stops.

Got to admit, I haven't had it looked at yet and it may be something of nothing. Except for the obvious, I have checked the fuses, but I might add there is a terrible singed/burnt smell from the relay plate area under the bonnet. Although the relays don't looked damaged in any way and they ALL stink when I've smellt them.

Confused!

951 tokens, at Bartrams in Accrington,Lancashire

this kit can be fit by yourself but time and lack of space made wallet come out..grr

Does this come with the electric pack to shut off the eas warning?
It comes with a little module that you plug into the ECU
Once fitted all you get on initial start up is one beep from the message centre and it shows "EAS MANUAL" for a second and then goes out and doesnt come back on till next time you start the car

dunt scorpion do a kit 4 it

Scrapiron will do a kit for it but there are several problems

1.- They don't advertise prices so no one knows how much it will cost
2.- Whatever it does cost will be bloody expensive
3.- It's going to be orange
