After the battery went flat (didn't disconnect the becm antenna quickly enough), my rangie decided that it would not turn the engine over - just a click from the relay on turning the key. Fusebox has been checked as have all connectors. I have also done the EKA thing and no joy. I was hoping someone nearby (Bedfordshire) might have a sync-mate or other tool to resync the becm and hopefullu get my previously start-first-time beast moving once more...

I will buy a syncmate for future use, but am stranded at the moment with a wife using our family saloon to look after the horse, so any help/advice would be welcome!

Thanks

You would be better off buying a Nanocom than a syncmate.

It was starting first time prior to the battery draining overnight. How can I jump it without risking frying something expensive?

Thanks for all the help. Resync sorted it.

I do however have a new problem - new battery and disconnected BECM aerial and still getting overnight battery drain. I don't think it is the EAS Timer causing issues as the car maintains height. I also checked the fusebox and it is fine. Am lost! Any ideas?
