What de ye reckon these angles are. A bit previous I know but I may as well make somewhere to hang one before epoxy primer.

How hard can it be.

This flap disk stuff is getting tedious.
I can’t wait till it’s primed and the welds seam sealed.
Almost there with the frame and on to the outriggers.
I think I’ll wire wheel it and prime it before welding the outriggers on. Stop the rust a bit so I don’t have to clean it all up again.

Go & get it galvanised

Clean the Vaseline from your camera's lens, please! LOL. :D
Looking like a tidy project though.

Another little side track holding progress up.
Due to my diesel generator making far too much noise (its bleedin embarrassing) and smoke and oil n crap, I have just purchased another in 4 stroke flavour. I'm setting about making a sound box for it and an exhaust extension so I can run it inside the lock up.
It should make things much more pleasant to work in there without the constant thumping outside. God only knows what the houses round there are going through and after a visit from Ur indoors yesterday (she explained she could hear it two streets away ) its time to upgrade.

We ran our house down here till got connected to grid with a Honda gennie had a tank on roof to supply loo flush and house sinks but had to start gennie to have a shower to get pressure through gas boiler which filled tank on roof at same time...evening tv and lights on till petrol run out then gas lighting...ohh the peace and quiet was unbeleivable when it ran out of fuel luckily we have no neiibours but can now here other gennies at night in the valley...

Managed to stretch the axle today. 8 inch in all so it fits on the recycled chassis. I wasn’t looking forward to this but it’s turned out better than expected.
I’m going to paint the chassis and axle tomorrow. I know I still have to weld the outriggers on it yet but I’d rather fit the axle once and get it on the floor just once rather than strip it all down again to paint.
The finish will no doubt suffer but as it won’t be seen once the coachwork starts, I’m counting on a technically correct application rather than pretty so touch ups will be required.
I’ll get some pics up tomorrow at some stage now I’ve limited litigation
