I've previously used memory map on their adventurer sat nav but now use the viewranger app and download the necessary os map from the viewranger website. Works perfectly on the iphone, prefer the phone setup.
Plenty of choice out there for using OS maps on today's wide array of gadgets.

I use Memory Map on a Samsung tablet with a holder attached to the dashboard. Been doing this for some years now and has the advantage of being able to track and save routes which can be emailed to mates using same system.

Just thought I'd ask in here rather than create a new thread as it's kinda Semi-related, what would be the best map for the machynlleth (B@stard lane)? going camping by Llanbedr this weekend to Wednesday get in touch if you're out in the area this weekend! :)

Edit: Either OS124 or OS135? I'm not 100% how close to Machynlleth it is?

I run Memory Map and use Explorer 023 cadair Idris for 1:25k and Region 05 for 1:50k ... the pic is Region 5, 1:50k ... No idea what the paper map number is, though I do have it, I don't have it easily available.
