I'd put the spare on to be safe, but I *might* have had worse than that repaired.

Do you have a tractor dealership nearby? They tend to do tyres, and are generally more "accommodating" when it comes to repairing tyres.

nothing wrong with that tyre.leave well alone.look at the tread on it.
 
Don't forget I've got a seven hour journey and then a days laning on the peaks with it ....can I really leave it?
 
I did say "To be safe".

If it was mine, I'd run it up the local John Deere dealership in the morning, and get my mate to repair it.
