Was there a 'conversion' which involved a chain insted of a rubbery belt?

there were a very few done like that but the most commonly done one is by using gears as per that first picture - if your engine sounds very rattly then you might well have had the geared conversion as they tend to be much louder thana standard

the gears dont last very long so i'd bet he was on about the casting change as per this

The work to get my Landy back on the road has begun...! Did me UJ's and replaced the oil seal on the diff where the prop shaft goes in. Was all goin rilly well an was just doin up the last prop nut, when the spanner slipped and ****ted me in the mouth. Me toof punched thru the inside o me lip and it bled fer a bit.:(

So we got a Brick Chops and now we have Spanner Chops an orl......................ooooooooo this 'uns gunna run an' run. :D
