if td4 then yes

Are we talking about "On Board Diagnostics" and excess Emissions failing MOT?
not sure what TPS means, you don't specify if its PETROL or DIESEL, or am I missing something?

Sorry TPS = Throttle Position Sensor, 1.8 Petrol also possible VCU Problem after having new engine fitted due to HG failiure I may well be an X landy owner Soon

Did you get the same engine? MEMS 1.9, with distributer cap?
Here's how you reset the TPS/Stepper motor.
key in ignition, switch to position II, dont start it., press accelerator to the floor 5 times in succession, take foot off switch to position I, remove key. then start and see if it idles at 750rpm when warm.
