Hi all, had to do a compression test which of course requires disconnecting the stop solenoid, now the car wont start, had this before years ago but i cannot remember what i did to get it going, any help appreciated, cheers.

Time to remove the solinoid and bench test it.there have been a few posts recently on this problem so do a search.

I haven't got around to taking it off yet, i am frustrated because i have had this before after doing a compression test and someone said do something and it started but i cannot remember and cannot find it in my history either o_O

There was a post on here about removing the internals from the solinoid but this is NOT recommended @brianp38dse posted a link for a new replacement solenoid that you won't need a mortgage for.

The emergency stop reset is behind the driver's kick panel. Or it might have lost sync.
