Dents are like scratches but with a story.......leave it as a war wound, haha, nah man, insist on a new panel, its your vehicle afterall and you gotta be happy with their repair

Or insist on the money for, and labour cost of fitting, a new wing, and then leave it as a war wound:D:D;);)

the washer bottle is there on the newer 406 (estate at least) mine split, and had to repair it (what a git that was)

anyhoo, that panels not likly to straighten out well/easily and deffo not without some sort of filler, theres a nice crease in it, id be pushing for new too.

Many thanks for the positive on my line of thinking feedback :)

I would rarther leave it bent than have it filled !

Creases will never come straight, also when ally bends it stretches so even if they did stretch it, it would never be how it was before, if they fit it with filler say that you want it back to how it was before and there was no filler before

Tell them to shove the filler. Its an ally wing and it wants replacing. For what they cost its quicker and cheaper to bolt a new one on than to pay a panel beater to bodge it. Ally dont panel beat very well as it work hardens and splits. Also filler lifts from ally over time. Its your motor and you dont have to accept anyhting other than what you want. have you got legal cover on your policy? If so set them on the old fart - its what you pay for.
