So where should this route start from Leeds or somewhere nearer the Lakes, what do folks usually do

Lakes would have to be a weekend job...find an area with the most closest lanes and find a cheap and cheerful camp site in the middle..if you want to pick an area ...our lass said she will help you sort a camp site that will cater for everybody

CAMPING :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Can she find one with B&B :D:D Those bunk barns were a bit rough and she knows why I wont sleep in a tent :rolleyes:

I could always sleep in the Defender, just need the legs for the front of the bed.

Are we going to put the Gatesgarth in it, or is it too difficult to get passes

Shes just having a quick look at what some of the camp sites have avaliable..dont think you'll get a pass for Gatesgarth this year ..took us 6 months to get a pass think that will be a trip for next year

OK, probably best if Tim and others with 110s want to come anyway.

Looks great in the lakes from the videos I have seen :D:D:D

Anyone fancy a short trip round Pool/Timble tomorrow.

Only an hour or two tops.

I want to test my new memory map / iphone set up.

I have the route as it was the end of the Dales Sunday route that we didn't have time to do.

Basically Rawdon down to Pool, up the other side of the valley and back via lanes.
