The world has gone mad. I thought about starting to run mine on 50/50 veg oil to save some cost now were over £1/L but veg oil here seems to be about the same price! maybe the oil companies are conspiring with the veg oil companies. Dead bodies in the fuel tank? I think I might need a slightly better fuel filter if were going to start doing that!

Haven't you got a Costco or equivelant out your neck of the woods reverand?
Queensferry down here are selling 20 litre barrels of the stuff for under a tenner, or abot 48p a litre.
Mt 300Tdi positively loves it.

Some stuff is quite reasonably priced, other stuff is about the same as you'd find in your local supermarket tbh.
Just nip into your local one, if you've got one handy like, and take in a business card to show your in some sort of business.
Someone elses will normally suffice if you haven't got one, but i didn't actually say that.

It's MAKRO, not Costco. Sorry. Same sort of place though.
Giv em a ring first, just to make sure they haven't 'moved the goal posts' with regard to joining, since i joined 5 years ago.
I'd hate you to come all this way to get back heeled.
Ask them for a price on the veggy oil too. Haven't been in there for a few weeks. It MAY have gone up like just about eveything else oil based.

They're all the bloody same anyway...virtually.

I'm beginning to think it might be worth the bother. 65p is still40p a litre cheaper thanks to the chancellors extortion. Thats overall a 20% saving. Havent succumbed to it yet but starting to consider it. If I could get 45 gallon drums for say 30p/L now that would be worth considering.

That's a cool £1.80 a gallon cheaper x ten gallons for a 50% mixture, is 18 snotters NOT going to Browns buffoons.
Got to be worth it, unless you've got to travel all the way down here to fetch some at that price from Holy Island of course.

Yes you are right, the only thing that bothers me is all the stuffing around - 10 gallons in 45 litres. cheapest I saw was in 1L bottles thats 45 plastic bottles in me recycling basket!

Asda do it for 66p a liter in 3 liter bottles. Well they did this morning anyway, cus i bought a couple of bottles.
Sick to the back teeth of all these fuel price hikes anyway.
Gone up about 6 times in the last 3 weeks. Where's it going to end?
I'd be straight back down at Stanlow if our famous Mr Jones decided to action the 'troops' again.
We'd problee all get arrested this time though.
