It 's gotta be especially as this new scottish chancellor is talking about taxing large cars to the tune of £1000 to £1500
Pura Vegetable Oil 1ltr
£0.56/unit
£0.06/100ml
That's not too bad, and easy to handle without having to use a funnel or pump either.
50 bottles at the checkout might raise a few eyebrows however, especially if you purchase that amount every week.
50p a liter saving though is a wicked £25 on a 20 gallon tank.
Don't forget to add into the equation off having to renew your fuel filter a bit more regulary like though.
Thas what mine is running on (100% rapeseed oil)......get it delivered with yur shopping. you get even stranger looks
What? You're running on 100% fill of rapeseed oil?
You got a pre heater fitted?
No yer eedjut...thas what that oil is .....1oo% rapeseed
50/50
rapeseed oil is like ****water...very thin.....must say I am getting a bit more black smoke on start up with this an it seems a bit more sluggish till it warms up......maybe just because the weather is getting cooler. might need to use a bit more deisel with it while its cold......
Nearest sainsbury is in Rhyl 60 miles away. Anyway with the greatest repect and even though its a 300TDi, I'm pretty sure it wont run on stella! Mind you its dearer at £1.40/L based on that deal!
Nowt in Conway or Holyhead worth checkin' out?
Conwy is a round trip of 80 miles so you'd have to be going for a reason. In Holyhead theres Tesco (Take Every Shopping Centre Out) offering 3L Veg for £2.21 which equates to 74p/L, Netto offering Veg oil at 68p?L Sun at 71p/L and then Lidl the same at 68p/L
based on those then I would probably get the box of 15x1L bottles from Lidl for £10.20. Its just a PITA dealing with all the bottles!
