Borneo TD5
New Member
Hi,
Purchased my 2000 TD5 in September last year with about 100,000km on the clock... Had to send it back to the dealer less than 2 weeks later for over heating problem.
Found out it was a stuck thermostat and had it replaced but the problem was still there (power was still ok at this stage)... Found out the gasket had been damaged and they performed a top overhauled... And this is when the "fun" started... the truck just refused to move beyond idle even when we had the pedal all the way down while in gear... the engine however will rev when its not in gear (slight delay thou). The Air mass sensor have since been replaced but the problem is still there...
They also suspected that the problem may be caused by oil seeping into the wiring and into the ECU but a replacement ECU didn't help either...
Any suggestion would be much appreciated...
Thanks
