Well... the car is now with the fuel pump guys checking the pump and injectors...

Still waiting for the verdict as apparently they had to engineer a mounting for the injectors to test them as they don't have one that fits...

hoping like hell that this IS the problem and I can have it back by x'mas...

Failing which I just got my Nanocom and hope (again) that it'll tell me what's wrong...

Finally managed to plug in the nanocom today and only 1 fault code after clearing the old fault codes... 03-07 air flow circuit (intermit.)

Some of the readings during idle are as below:

Engine Speed (RPM) - 755
Idle Speed Error (rpm) - -1
Road Speed - 0
Battery (v) - 13.248
Accel. Way 1 (v) - 00.619
Accel. Way 2 (v) - 04.380
Accel. Way 3 (v) - 00.000
Accel. Supply (v) - 04.989
Coolant Temp (c) - 101.5
Fuel Temp. (c) - 090.3
Air Inlet Temp.(c) - 55.9
Air Flow (gr/hr) - 0176.1
Ambient Pressure (Kpa) - 101.48
Manifold Turbo Pressure (Kpa) - 104.91
EGR Modulator (%) - 00.00
EGR Inlet (%) - 00.00
Wastegate Modulator (%) - 00.00
Cylinder 1 Balance - -4
Cylinder 2 Balance - -2
Cylinder 3 Balance - 4
Cylinder 4 Balance - -1
Cylinder 5 Balance - 2

Furthermore reading error message came out when I tried to test the injectors...

Any feedback is much appreciated and anyone knows where can I get some figures as a bench mark?

Thanks a lot...

air flow rate looks high for idle. should be about 55-60. what does it read under load?

Coolant is a bit high too? mine normally reads about 80 when warmed up

here's some readings from mine

Road speed = 0
Engine speed = 784
Idle speed err. = -2
Battery voltage = 14.605001
Pot trottle 1 = 0.716000
Pot trottle 2 = 4.369000
Pot trottle 3 = 0.000000
Pot supply = 5.037000
Ambient pressure = 102.099998
Air flow = 62.400001
Air inlet temp. = 16.200000
Air inlet press. = 102.269998
Coolant temp. = 55.100001
Fuel temp. = 39.400001
EGR modulator = 0.000000
EGR inlet = 0.000000
Turbo Wastegate = 0.000000
Power balance 1 = -1
Power balance 2 = 0
Power balance 3 = 1
Power balance 4 = -2
Power balance 5 = 3

Haha!! Yes... the fuel guy...

They said they've not done this model before so needs to fabricate the mount and cam in order to test the injectors...

My mechanic sent the car there over two weeks ago but the fuel guy have not managed to get the mount or cam done so the car was taken out for the time being...

ok... had it tested underload and curiously air flow showed 0000.0 for anything just over 600+ gr/hr...

Manifold turbo pressure peaked at close to 200kpa...

another thing is that it showed the gearbox in DRIVE when its in P with the Transfer Ratio on LOW when its actually on High...

Any suggestions?? :(

something is not right with the air flow readings your getting. can you try someone elses AFM? also check the AFM wires as they pass over the air con pump (the loom can get worn through and short the wires)

manifold pressure is just below what it should be (220kpa ish under load)

Nanocom does have a few problems reading some of the outputs! like being in drive when in park and the air con on when its not!!

Ok thanks... will look into it...

Had it tested with a borrowed MAF just now and the air flow now reads 35+ (idle) and 180+ (under load)...

seems a bit low now compared to your idle reading...

The manifold pressure was around 220+ so I must have miss read the reading last time...

Yes they were touching a bit but no real damage. have moved them out of harms way...

if there is any wear on the loom, open it up and check the wires. they are very fine and can easily break or short out with each other (and this can give you = 03-07 air flow circuit (intermit.)).

Ah... will double check later... thanks for the tip...

Replaced the faulty MAF and air flow reading is now in the high 50s during idle and coolant at 80+ and the car is now much better to drive... most of the time...

sometimes it still decides to only change gear at close to 3000rpm and the gear change can be a bit rough...
