OK, been thinking about this, not sure how its going to work.
Can everyone on the list, even if they are provisional post the following
Vehicle
Tyres (MT/AT/Road)
Recovery points (Yes/No) And that doesn't mean tie down points Olly
Recovery equipment
Level of experience
Scratchy or non scratchy
CB Radio
I'm not sure the route is suitable for everyone, so might make another taking out some bits. We could still meet at various points for training etc.

Paul D .. Disco, MT's, Recovery points front and rear, winch front, Lots of recovery stuff, lots of good experiences, already scratchy so more won't hurt, CB yes ...
To be honest, it doesn't matter what anyone's got, but I'd recommend a CB to start with, but the first and last one in a group _should_ both have cb's. If not, change order.
If the lanes are easy, or you, SueW, consider them not hard (not trying to be funny) then probably anyone can do them. The idea from my side is to trundle around, when I see 'something' worthwhile or relevant I'll stop to point it out to the less experienced and try to explain how I'd either tackle it, move it, or otherwise deal with it.
I expect I'll bring a table so I can take my equipment out and show it to you all, some bits you might not think about, some bits will be obvious. I'll show how I use the bits together and how I formulate a recovery plan and keep others safe.
This will be different to how we worked the other weekend when we were all experienced and 'know' what and why people are doing different things with just a shout or a gesture ... We were all still safe, but it didn't need to be pointed out, and no-one had to be told to move etc
It won't be a lecture, you don't have to listen to me ranting, I'll just try to say it like it is and show what I do in situations.

However they might struggle on road tyres for example. Some are very rocky and some are quite scratchy. Not good if its someones everyday car and nice and shiny.
I'm not talking about the people who want to do the recovery training. This started as a gentle trip out for folks who hadn't done laning before. Its moved on and the route is now more challenging than it was. Just thinking that depending on the answers the orginal route needs to be in place as well.

mate of mine, despite being told after the first trip, came with us another 3 times in his all singing, all dancing range rover......To be honest, it doesn't matter what anyone's got, but I'd recommend
