Heard today that on Subaru forums the name given to the new FL2 is "the groundscraper" because the groundclearance of the FL2 is 21 cm. where the groundclearance of the Subaru Forester is 21-1/2 cm.....
Why do people buy Jap cars? - I just dont get it! and what do they talk about on their forums, the price of fish? - 1/2 cm ground clearance by sounds of it.:doh:
The FL2 is the class leader in mid size and I want one.

And re that 1/2 cm difference, exactly my point, told it to the guy but haven't got an answer on that specific thing no more. (Is an ex-FL1 driver who, after some problems turned into the Subaru Forester thing, after they got a diesel as well. The FL he had was a ²nd hand one, maybe the first owner didn't take good care of it?).

The only way a Hippo, be it MK1....2....3 or any other MK will ever be better than a Defender is..................if ALL the Defenders in the world were scrapped.

That won't be long off. The FL2 is clearly the future of landrover and the direction of the 4x4 market in general.

Who had a go at Defenders? - I missed that. Next they'l be saying that the Sangyong wagon is better than Range Rover Sport. We must unite all LR owners ha ha ha that would be the day. Have you seen the new Ford contraption, it's a Fiesta on steroids?

Thats abit harsh, defenders have their place, albeit on the farm.
Also they are invaluable in the military.
And thats were they belong.
