TD5 is common rail and full of electrickery so not the easiest to work on and expensive if you need to pay someone else.
2.5 n/a is a tractor and most folk wouldn't want to travel any distance but very simple for a diy mechanic
TDi's are somewhere inbetween.
All LR's need maintenance, partly because they're built to live a rugged life and have user serviceable parts......and partly because the build quality is ****e
