o no sudden stop I was driving on the motorwayHas the vehicle had a sudden stop? There is usually a fuel cut off switch somewhere in the engine bay to switch of the pump in the event of a crash, unfortunatly I have never looked under the bonnet of a D2 so cannot really assist further.

With the engine off. Follow the pipe that goes from the top of the air filter lid towards the back of the engine. It will go to a round snail shape thing under a tin plate cover. You need to undo the jubilee clip that secures the pipe to the snail shape thing. This is the turbo. Once the pipe is off check for debris in the pipe and also the blades of the turbo
Flat head or Philips screwdriver or 7mm socketOk
