I had already emailed them. They just clearly aren't as quick to respond as you are
I was just posting their response for information purposes only. It would have been more interesting if they'd contradicted you and said it measures the MAF perfectly!!
Nik
You got a better response than me
Good afternoon
As this system was designed based on the Faultmate MSV-2 which in turn was
originally developed from land Rovers Testbook some years ago, if there is
no function to read what you require then that means that the there is no
way that we have of reading that information.
As for what reads the sensor I could not begin to advise as we simply
provide diagnostic equipment and do not work on vehicles.
I would suggest researching the functions via the internet and land rover
forums as every possible function available is already included in our
systems.

No the maf sensor on the air intake on a egr diesel the only function I
can see is the air temp sensor but this remains the same @ -38.8 and
doesn't change what is the reading function for the maf mass air flow
sensor as I cannot see this function on your machine ??? So what reads the
sensor ??

Good afternoon
I assume for your vehicle description that you are referring to the
Motronic V8 P38 Range Rover? If so please refer to the ECU guide here
http://web.nanocom.it/download/BOSCH MOTRONIC V8 P38 and DII.pdf
and under the Inputs section is the MAF sensor reading information
Kind Regards
