After speaking to David at Goodwinch about replacing what I thought was a WARN Z3500 with a Goodwinch TDS-9.5i I've been taking a closer look at the existing winch and I'm finding myself less and less convinced that it is a WARN Z3500 - It seems to be very big for a 3500lb trailer/ATV winch.

I have attached a photo of the winch, which I'm certain is a WARN, but any ideas about the model?

Or is the Z3500 really this big?

Thank you,

Chris

What does it say on the sticky labels?

Just operating instructions. One says which way the drum turns and the other has pictures showing which way to turn the handle. I was expecting/hoping for a label with the make/model/serial number, but no such luck I'm afraid.

Mystery solved. David @ Goodwinch has identified the winch as an old WARN 9,000.

Before I take it off and throw it in the bin, does anyone want this old winch?

A few people have shown interest in the winch but livers was first to reply so I reckon that gives him first refusal. Liver, do you still want it?

If not, I will check my PMs again to see who was next in line.

Just for reference - As I'm sure is clear from the photo, there is no cable, but I do have the solenoid and control switch. I have no idea if the winch works; It doesn't turn by hand so it's probably seized.

Where abouts are you as its probably could be an issue for collection for some members however I'm quite lucky in that respect. I have to collect parts from the southern most point of the M25 at some point over the next few days and some up Nr Northampton Bloody Ebay!!

Looking at my PMs, you're next in line if Mr liver decides he doesn't want it.

I'm a few miles south of Oxford, but visiting Buxton at some point this weekend and at the Newbury 4x4 show on Sunday 7th April.
