Not necessarily, have you put it in position to see where it sits with say 25mm off existing crank nut , if front end still sits on bumper reasonably might be ok, be Nice if them two brackets fix to front of chassis and prop end in correct position , if not see how it looks fitted without said brackets which can then be modified to suit, can always cut prop and weld in a section

I have just [placed the order for what I am hoping is the the final bits required to get this to a position where I can fit it to my series. I will update when the parts arrived and it is assembled.

I know on the face of it the fitting of this to the vehicle seems very simple, mount to the front bumper and chassis, mount the drive shaft support, and fit the dog nut to the engine. However I am assuming it is more complex than that and there are specific positions/tolerances/measurements that are required. Does anyone have a fitting guide for how to properly install into a series vehicle?

You’ve cracked it, pretty much as you said, line up through round hole in chassis , get drive nut on
There’s flexibility with the uj coupling and the bracket that holds the spring is adjustable ,
So basically get it in position mark off your drill holes , get nutserts in , bobs your uncle
Once your bits come in might be more obvious
See post 2 for guide there is more available on net too
