Yeah i know £50odd!!!!! MAD! viper hurricane , mildest cam apart from standard

Sliced most of my hands/fingers on piston rings today! bloody hurt when using the degreaser on the pistons!!! ImageUploadedByTapatalk 21370290386.364663.jpg
Pretty much every fingers got a cut like that only noticed when my latex gloves turner red!

just spoke to my mates dad, he does alot of corvette work, said he will do my heads for alot cheaper than the machine shop, clean, disassemble, inspect, new valve stems seals, re seat. Gonna clean up and drop off this weekend :)

Result ... also did you not remove the old rings?

Yeah old rings out, will get some pics of my rings etc tomorrow. anybody k ow where i can get a set of timing cover and water pump bolts as most of mine aren't really reusable and a few are completely not useable

I ll find a link.. its in polish or somthing but google will translate it. Its all unf or somthing so you can get high tensile stud and nuts if you get real stuck.

I have not bothered as they all looked ok, if you are using a cam within the .43'' lift they should be ok as standard otherwise you will have to change them anyway

I changed them, my thinking is they may have lost some of their spring rate and not seal as well as the have.. but there not compulsory

Pistons all finished, went from ImageUploadedByTapatalk 21370452768.474620.jpg
