Check the welds on the outriggers mine looked just like yours but had severe tin worm underneath, good luck keep the pics coming ;)

Amazing what you find needs doing when you have all that unrestricted access, make use of it to check the wiring, brake-pipes, hoses etc etc.
I recomend using SS fixings and plenty of Waxoil on reassembly, has proved to be an unbeatable combination over the years. Make sure the bulkhead is fully loaded with Waxoil before you fit it (turn it upside down, tape up all the holes and poor copious amounts of liquid Waxoil into it, allow it to stand for a while and then rotate it and allow the excess to drain out), you can then use the excess to brush every nut, bolt & washer before you fit them so that in years to come they all come undone with ease (been there & proved it).

ino this goin to sound silly but wich waxoil do i buy and weres best to buy from ..i recently brought some zinc paint in a tin is that any good to use on chassis ?.

Looking good there, just a bit on the ss nuts and bolts great plane but dont forget to use lock nuts or spring washers on them, they dont rust up like the old onces and rattle loose.

yes most the nuts and bolts iv had to grinde out :D they were ****e...each day iv been ordering stainless nuts and bolts for when i rebuild think im going to be at it a while tho on my own .

Been at mine on and off for about 3 years now mate, trouble is when you start you dont want to put the old crap back on!

This looks quite handy for spraying the inside of the chassis:

I'm not planning a full strip down, so looks a bit easier than tipping it inside the chassis! I don't want it to turn into a 3 year plus project! ;)

Yes i used that to spray the inside of my 90 and it worked , but you have to have the wax really warm. goof cheap way to do it got mine from Halfords .

well fort i would update my project in no longer'' due to moveing house in 4 weeks and baby due in 6 but she seems like she could have it any time soon so have had to sell it ' i am gutted iv lost over 700 in less than 4 weeks. im hopeing soon as im sorted in new home with new born feww weeks after i will buy another but dont think ill be able to rebuild it to how i would like .
