hi guys, my disco 1 failed mot on the indicater tell tail light not working properly sometimes it works sometimes it wont also the trailer light flashes the tester said clean the contacts at the stalk end and it should be fine, i cannot still get it to work properly ive looked at the threads but cant find the problem ive got so any ideas please

The trailer light always flashes or flashes for the first flash of the indicator?

two or three times then it all gos out hazards and trailer lights but all hazards on the disco work

Trailer light is supposed to flash first flash. Sounds like you might have some shorts or summit though.

do i need to get into the back of the light panel n stuff ie take the dash out, i know nothing about eletrics as you can probaly tell

The trailer lights are usually connected to the car via the drivers side rear lights.
Try looking there to see if there's anything obvious.
