that's good because none of us know where we were for most of the time, but we managed to find some nice camp sites

I did pick up business cards from where we stopped, but unless I can crack this navigation business I don't think we will ever find it again.

We have GPS positions from most of the trip, just waiting for Adam to put it all together on a map type thing,so we can find most of the places.Iam sure Adam can give a more technical answer.

Think we will have to meet up at some point so Adam can talk me through it. I have a Laptop with GPS, but I haven't quiet worked out how the mapping works with Garmin Basecamp.

I'll invest in some decent gps software too, don't want to get abandoned in the desert! A trail of breadcrumbs? :D

If your with our group you won't get abandoned. We stick together. I didn't have any navigation stuff other than a fairly detailed map on our last trip and for most of the time I didn't have a clue where we were. Mind you I don't think anyone knew where we were most of the time as we got lost twice. I would like to get more idea next time round.

You've not heard my singing yet!

Only joking, I'm good... Honest! :D though isn't getting lost part of the fun!?!

H'mm we could make an exception in your case then. (joking) Yep getting lost is part of the fun, that's why we had such a great time as we were often lost. Not knowing where we were or going we may have been lost more times that I knew about. My navigator Gerald is useless at navigation. On the way back he couldn't find the route to Malaga until I pointed out to him that he was still on the Morocco map. All good fun.

Hang on that's not fair he did look at a map and say "yes they are the mountains" when we were surrounded by them. So he does know what they are.

Anyway, as these things creep up on us all quickly can I suggest we have a meet up in the summer (July?) to go through the logistics, somewhere in the midlands seems to work for most (sorry Mike).

We learned a lot last time about route planning and also kit, which we should share with the newbies.

I'm not taking point this time so I look forward to appointing a new fool err leader....

With my navigator we would have problems finding our way out of the port in Casablanca.
There was a certain comfort with you Chris taking point, If you got through we new the rest of us could.

Well I'm not leading!

Put this on today, pretty good but I need to take it off and shorten one part so that it sits flat. Works nice though :)

Thanks! :D I like the getting lost part, sometimes nice to not know! Though often handy if you need to leave!

Here you go, we noted down all the places we went :) I do beleieve the camping was like £10, but the beer was about £150.

Looks good, you will put the rest of us to shame. Looks nice and comfy. Does it take long to erect and fold away?

About 10 mins, the zip is a bit awkward, but guessing it will get easier the more its used. Plus I think we can leave bedding in it so wont have to put it away.

The instructions were dire though, I have a load of parts left, but no idea where they go!

I have to do a trip to the UK at some point. I shall look out for the dates and see what I can arrange.
