Yep it's all bolted on, are you working tonight ? Wanna take a trip down to Kris'es place tomorrow ? I need someone to drive the 90 down :D

Not working tonight but will be tomorrow 2pm onwards which screws that up abit! :( Im about to refit my fuel tank without the sender unit; it should be here on monday and i can hopfully squeeze it in under the wheel arch. I have painted the tank white so the MOT guy is distracted from the chassis.

I took the landy down to Kris'es, of course the first thing I had to do when I got it there, was to remove the tent so it could fit under the door of the workshop

Anyway we got the hot water working (yea priorities) before we had to rush off to rescue Rustie Rangie, who was pretty stuck near hindhead.

So I'm planning to go down to the workshop during the week after work and get the rest of the important stuff done, like the subwoofer :) If anyone wants to come down and help it will be much appreciated.

I think we will have to postpone the BBQ, maybe for the week after the shakedown trip, cause I've still got way to much to do.

I think im about there for the MOT, all the welding is done and the tank is back in, had it running just now! Started sweet now it has a proper engine earth lead! Just add some wheels to those spares and you will have a second vehicle

Are you coming on the ferry then, thought you were driving ?

Did Trevor get time off ?

If you can help out a couple nights that would speed things up quite a bit.

If everyone is keen on the BBQ we can still do it, may have to get everyone to bring their tools and do a small task on the Land Rover before they get fed :D

I just finished wiring up my bull bar spot lights to the main beam vire a relay, all very nice with crimped on clips (no twisted together wires with tape on) and all rated higher than necessery (no house hold three core). Realy pushed the boat out. :D

Brilliant, use yours as a guinea pig before helping me with mine :)

Okay, gonna have to postpone the BBQ, way too much still to do. Will be at workshop Fri Night/Sat and Sun, anyone who wants to come and help is welcome.

In fact, Booger will cooking food for everyone who is helping, and here is the menu,

Sat & Sun 10am, Freshly Baked (in the camp oven, I **** you not..) Rolls filled with the Finest Danish Bacon. (or whatever dead animal I can find)

Sat Lunch, Toasted Sandwiches, with either Chicken Mayo or Cheese Tomato and Onion, or any combo of the above.

Sun Lunch, Chicken Potjie, if you don't know what that is, it looks something like this...

Let me know if you will be attending and want food, so that I bring enough !

If those were my feet, I'd be upstairs playing with my titties, not posting on this silly forum :D

and the mini pies are some kind of South African vegetable, I still don't know what they are called, despite growing up in the place... :p

Hey Rich, How did the MOT go ?

FAIL

But it was on only one thing, apparently the stearing box is leaking too much, and i quote "if you were to go from one lock to the other six or seven times, there would be a splattering on the floor".

In othere words the drop arm was moist with oil, i wouldent personaly have ever expected that to be pulled up, but hey, they passed all that weling and even commented that it was good and that all the mods were done well  so im not gona complain! So its steering box overhall time, got to take the rad out for the 12th or so time this year (no joke), then get the box out for closer inspection.

radiator out to swap a Pas box really its only a few bolts to drop down i would leave the rad/rad panel in meself. Take the drop arm off first tho otherwise could be a biatch to get off. I woukd also go with a good second hand box recon not seen too many seal replacements last very long on Pas.
