A bit off topic, but here is a bicycle with an air horn...
No doubt that plays a tune.

Simon and i made some good progress on the landrover today, but found more bad stuff than what we fixed. basicly the rear cross member consisted of a fiew layers of paint holding rust together, so weve rebuilt the lower side of that with angle iron. Nice and strong now and looks good. Got another plate on the suspension too, will weld on the spring seet soon. Found a big hole in another cross member though, in front of the tank, but there like ice burgs, you can only see 10% of it. No doubt more fun fabrication ahead. This chassis :censored:. Never mind, im gona get some big bits of steel and beef the hell out of it for the trip, it will be back to streangh once ive finished patching it, but just to be sure . I will re build it into a nice landy when we got back, will have space too with the move.

No Doubt
I have gone off the idea of a musical horn, mainly because I found a very good quality two horn truck air horn very cheap, so I'm just going to bang that on and if I want to hear La KakaRachcha (yes I know that is not the correct spelling) I'll just have to listen on the radio
Thank the good Lord for that!
And my landy is back, nearly dark so the pics are not brilliant..

Hi All,
I am Ray and I too hope to be joining you all on this trip. I have met Richard & am an old friend of Booger.
Hopefully the 2nd gen Surf I have just purchased will be strong enough to keep up, although I expect I will still have to avoid any extremes.
The Surf has been checked over by the very knowledgeable Tony at 4x4Toys, being in great shape for its age. The visit next week will give me a 2" lift, an ATF Cooler and some new shocks. Money is tight (now jobless), so only absolute essentials I'm afraid.
I am looking forward to the trip... learning from you guys and of course getting to know the culture of Morocco.
I understand that there is a test run to the Lake district soon, where I will get to meet everyone.
Cheers
Ray
Good to have you on board. Sounds like a good wagon. Whats an ATF cooler? My dads Jeep could do with extra cooling, the engine he has is renouned for overheating and having cylinder head failure.
Thanks for the brackets booger, just looked at them, will fit the cross member pefectly and have enough space to clear the tow bar too so very handy.
No worries. I'm making progress too..
Twin Batteries and new battery tray fitted, but not the split charge.
Winch In, then out again cause the cables were too short, new cables ordered, (not going to connect to the starter motor).
Made some brackets for the Air Horn and PA Speaker, busy painting them.
Main Tank Guard fitted, (by Kris cause I don't like drilling holes in my chassis )
Cooker Housing fitted.
Pygmy Safe fitted.
If you are free next week why don't you pop in at Ripley and see what's going on.
Hope to get all the hardware done next week (unless it rains every day - which looks likely ) And then it's just the mother of all wiring jobs left to do.
Landy looks great booger didn't make it to see you and kris today as i was suffering from a hangover.Got the disco to sort out for MOT on wednesday try to get down to you this week
And the weather for the week is...
 Thinking about getting a tent...
Bit off topic, but my landy is famous! Its appeared on "Time" (US magazine webite), in an extreem ironing video which feaures Disco jamez, a friend Gordon Fox and myself and some good old fashined sillyness.
