asking my usual dumb q's - aint the rr or disco got a vcu?
do they have the same prob as the hippoo, or is it more "manly"?
Could that be utilised?

but theys tractors. . .jisting aside lookin more for 2wd or and 4wd at a flick of a switch un if it would fit in place of the vcu that would be great. . . .but then cost comes into the game. . . .:) :) :D

i cant see anyone forking out between £500-£1000 just to be able to switch between 2&4wd, Minge. I would only envisage someone doing this who has a shot VCU, as replacing that would cover a lot of the cost. Unless yu got loadsadosh?

There are two issues here....

1) replacing the VCU with a more reliable system
2) 2/4wd switching to give better fuel consumption, less strain on system etc.

i agree wif you flops. . .but yer no 2 is the best option ,if my vcu was shot i would do a mod jist fer the hell of it, as i feel this would be a great way to go ,and if costs and reliability came into play peeps would Que up to have one fitted, cost wise got to be aruond the £600 mark. . .
