I have NO info for IcBandit, so LZIR will not call him
Please send info to BB, Fanny & myself, including contact number(s)
I have ICBs number, PM on it way. Don't know what's on the map, my phone doesn't like it
haha.Update to my above post, after towing some German holidaymakers in a 7ton Winnebago out of a ditch on a 30% gradient the other week (successfully), the towrope snapped. On the plus side, I can now handle 10ton thanks to my new towrope!! although won't likely ever pull anything that big
The funny bit was a guy who appeared and helped guide them while I towed, once I had got them out, he went over to the back of the Defender, slapped the back of it where the British flag vinyl was, pointed at it to the Germans and then went "BRITISHHHH!!!"
LOL!
think it's just a mobile. pm one of them and they'll sort it out. What details must be provided?

No mobile signal here either, I gave them my landline!I'll do that this weekend when I'm down South then, zero mobile signal where I am, about time I asked EE for a Broadband>Phone signal kit

rcvd info - txtd.. no response yetNot sure if I should add my details to the map?
Location: Wasdale, West Lake District
Recovery: Basic towrope, can probably handle up to 5ton (more if combined with your own towrope, chain etc.) Alternatively, during winter (gets rough up here!) if situation is too serious, can collect you and bring you to a warm open fire and recover your vehicle when things have improved I work from home, so always around.
Tools: Basic tools, spanners, screwdrivers, sockets, air compressor with tyre gun and other tools etc. Oh and tea and coffee making facilities
Assist Radius: Probably 20-30 miles, more if in serious situation. Also willing to discuss if rescuee wants taking further afield.
One thing to note, there is absolutely no mobile phone reception where I am, and this applies to many areas of the Lakes within that radius, usually farmers are happy to lend you a phone, and there is an odd phonebox here and there.
