I guessed that might be the case lol, I've got a number of threads running on various fora but the info is overwhelming and I don't know enough, but to see things in the metal will be handy...
Well i'm sure you've heard it all before, but, check for rust, and definitely lift the boot carpet and check the boot floor - you do get some funny looks asking if you can get your screwdriver out and lift the carpet - but its worth it
AND! run a HPI check no matter what - that saved me buying a double write off dodgy motor

I went to the show last year, but in a car. Off-road course looks pretty good, plenty of vids on youtube. I'll be taking my Landy this Sunday.
Auto-Jumble was good last year.
