I use laycorn boxes in the back, the one with the expensive bits in it has a padlocked metal framework around it made with iirc 30mm / 3mm wall box.

For the vehicle itself I use a discklok, pedal lock , lock handbrake to the gearstick to stop someone letting the handbrake off. Doors are always locked fpor soem bizarre reason even when I leave it in the Summer with no roof on it :rolleyes:.

Cheers

Velcro seal between top& back.
On the Plus side of the back it stops on all the time.
Down side it sags a bit in the corners & collects a bit of water.
Truck cab rolls up to make a bikini top or roll down top the whole top & lies behind the hoop.
We used to flat the full tilt & cargo net this.

What hand brake lock do you have?

What hand brake lock do you have?

One that I butchered together myself, I got a cheapie that did not really fit and cut and shut it to work on the landie when it is in gear and the handbrake is fully on. Not a real deterrent to a determined thief, but at least it looks like it is doing its job when a local youth walks past and has the great idea to release the handbrake and watch the car roll down the hill.

I was thinking of getting the system where the handbrake is locked in the up position. Or making something to do the job instead.

Cheers

I have been looking at the handbrake system for a while and wondering how to lock it. I know the wire can be cut from underneath if you know where to cut but I was locking at the mechanism and wondering a lock could be incorporated into the handle so it can’t be taken off would work.

I tried a handbrake lock to gearstick but I found a way to defeat it by pulling the knob off. I worked out a way to prevent that but involved welding extra stuff to the gearstick

Something similar to this on the bay will be what I am looking at doing or getting.

Well that looks excellent actually and they seem to have thought about the cable aswell.

That’s quite good. Might just get that.

Don’t like the green though lol

Made an attachment on old 90 where the transfer box was locked in the neutral position to the seat base.
At least they can't drive off.

On my travels last week I saw a 90 with not one but two wheel clamps on it, one that clamps the rim and the other more conventional one that covers the wheel nuts and has three hooks to clamp the wheel.

Back in Holland a guy had his 110 stolen even though it had a DiskLok and wheel clamp on it, it's never been recovered.

If they want it they will have it.
My 1 Landrover is in plain site behind a fence & not moved for 2 years.
Some one has tried to move it but no joy.
Valve lock on the brakes.
Hydolic handbrake(extra calipers on back axle) Also valve locked
No key. Barrel wired up to a horn so hot wire & it goes off.
And the photo is by my computer. :)
