With regard to the ride height sensors, If the battery is disconnected before any work is done on the sensors then it should not be necessary to recalibrate the ride height after replacement. If it's not disconnected you probably will have to recalibrate the ride height but you now have a Nanocom so if the worst comes to the worst ....It's booked in with my mate(who's got his own garage) hopefully next Saturday, I have two new bags (dunlop) I think they was about £150.00 if not close to it, I have the little springs as well, I guess by looking at them there quite easy to fit,also found a pair of ride height sensors on ebay for £40.00 so might get them and change them, just to be sure but I have read that, you need to re live and set up the suspension again, is there a definitive guide for this, in stupid circumstances
If the old bags are the original ones then the air pipes will have to be cut with a Stanley knife to fit them into the sockets on the Dunlop bags. Make sure that they're cut square and clean with no scratches on the outside before they are pushed home. They are self sealing. The air bags can be done with the battery still connected.
I think that there is a procedure on the forum for recalibrating the ride height using a Nanocom but without using calibration blocks. It involves jacking the body using the tow bar so that you get the correct gap between the top of each wheel and the wheelarch and using the Nanocom to enter the values for each side. @sierrafery knows how to do it so I will defer to him in this case.
