My attendance is up in the air - SWMBO is a poll clerk and possibly a countist on the EU thingummy so will be knackered and Mulberry is slow, so it'd take me a month to get there n back. Then there's the slight lack of monetaries as we is having work done on the house following the discoverance of a lack of tidy wood holding the floors up in the house - eek!!
Obvs, if I can wangle it I'll endeavour to be there, if not hope everyone has a cracker of a time.

Wife ................er, I'm sure I have one somewhere.....
Actually, her mother has managed to break her femur. She's managed 95 years with femurs intact. Linda wants to stay back to look after her, so I will be looking for a gate bitch, er, that is, a co - driver:D

Back from our afternoon excursion. Think its fair to say that we won't be including that lane on the LZ12 outing.

Big kudos to Mr Kipper, who managed to dig out my 110 and get me out of the ruts and then I was able to tow him.out in turn ..took him.best part of a couple of hours

AAhhh, a volunteer?
Possibly... I've got a 110sw and we are coming in that plus a camper van. Doris is driving the 110 to the event and I'm driving the scary LHD camper.
Because of the two vehicles we've told our two kids (14 and 12) that they can bring a friend each, so 2 adults and 4 kids. However, 6 peeps won't fit into a 5 seat SW and they are all gangly so its not great for them in the 2nd row.
Point I'm poorly trying to make is that if anyone wants gate bitches I've potentially got 4.
I've got to offload at least one of them if they all want to come green laneing.
My initial plan was to split them into 2 groups because I thought the laneing was on both Saturday and Sunday.
Tbh, I don't think I'll feel like it again on the Sunday so if I can squeeze them into others trucks on the Saturday that would be great.
But, yeah... I'll sort you out Flatlander, what you in?

I've got the 90 in my avatar, the four seats in the back are side facing, and I've been told they make you feel nauseous after a while. Front passenger seat is normal though, @pontyslapper occupied it in LZ10, and seems to have survived. Be glad to cart them around!

My kids biggest moan is that they can't see anything in the 2nd row seats, my daughter is touching 6ft and has to peer through the alpine lights and every bump hits her head on the roof!
I'm not sure rear side facing will be any better.
The two boys are a bit shorter but I wouldn't wish them pair on anyone plus mines a puker!
The two girls can't be separated and I get that, so they need a Disco or something but not a tratter.
Kind offer noted though Flatlander and I may be calling on you but I suspect, if I do, that you'll have my Doris and/or 2 boys. I might put a request up for a Disco ride for the girls.
My worry is the whining from the daughter there after about Discos being "sooo much smoother/quieter/ comfortabler/ than dads old tratter.

Some pictures of a lane we won't be doing at LZ12- it's not called soggy bottom for nothing

Soo.. further to my post above is anyone going laneing in a Disco, freelander (anything but a tratter)that can accommodate 2 girls?
They are both 14 and will probably giggle a lot , both tom boys.

It's looking likely we won't make it. :(

Pikeys car has decided to be a bastid. Due to changing fuse which in turn has fooked ECU and immobiliser. It no longer starts.

Had eggspurt out today and it's not gonna be a cheap fix.

Gutted.

What's wrong with a tratter, exactly?

Hold on, just seen your earlier post. Fair enough. Sure they'll be someone on the day. Might have room.

Philip is solo in his D2, might be able to help out, he'll be over with us and the big white trailer on the weekend.
