Trewey's recovery service is available 24hrs a day anywhere West of the Tamar.
Any established LZer comin this way, just PM me fer contact details.

oh, and I disclaim all responsibility fer anyfing.

If one of you guys was stuck or broke down somewhere within reach of me on and I was free to get to you then I would help out; but it would be on the understanding that if the front end of your vehicle got ripped off when I floored it to haul you out of the Surrey car park you got stuck in then it's your own problem :D

to both yu and Adz - int that the understanding anyway - if we go orfroading and yu get stuck - yu dont ask the other guys if they insured to tow ya out - or ask for a disclaimer first. I dint see DV or Boomer signing Disclaimers for Si or Ratty on the weekend. I can understand (and agree) that it is at the risk of the peep being towed, but doesnt that come under "accepted practice" for those not in business?

I wasnt just thinking of a physical tow - maybe just the name of a known good indy....

or maybe a post such as "Si has broken down in Truro - can anyone help?" it would be then down to individuals to decide whether to reply to the post and then come to a personal understanding with the peep needing some help.

me thinks a good idea in principal I for one would offer help , perhaps if we had a list of members the area they can cover and what assistance they could give.

I can offer bacon sarnies and a cuppa tea while you phone the AA or RAC. I have em on special at the moment. £4 all in.:D :D :D

a register would be difficult to administer. Just take the tel no of someone who can put a post up on here and who can give your mobile number to any prospective helpers. They can then make any individual choices between the two.

and this list would be kept up to date by someone (thanks for offering MHM :) ) and distubuted to those participating in it

perhaps if someone needs help who isnt yet on the list they could be sent some contact details for their nearest in return for a small (fiver?) donation to the LZ annual manc burning (barbie)/GL weekend fund

I'll be up for it, can cover as far south of Aberdeen as Dundee and as far north as Inverness, could tow to a couple of places I know, can also provide a bed (large sofabed) for two people in the event they need to wait for work to be done/parts to arrive etc etc

sounds good to me

I dont mind offering my services (so to speak!)

I can cover south of birmingham and over to warwickshire.

Err however I got to put me bastid engine back together first!

I think this is a brill idea. There's foocal members near me, so it's a bit of a quiet zone on the map, I'll always be up for lending a hand if someone's in the area. If we got some stickers or owt made up they would be a ticket out of college for the afternoon "No sorry andy I'm an Oh! Facial rescuer, I need to go, I'll be back for last lesson" :D

Seriously though, stick me on the list.
