Just had a call off a mate and he's havin probs with his 3.5 v8 disco

Fitted new radiator and alternator belt after a break down last weekend ......... started and ran for 3 seconds then died and wont start again ........... no spark from coil lead but fuel pump is running (he can hear it)

Says the battery was dead so he recharged it but other than that and the work listed above nothing else has been touched ..................

Any ideas????

fur example if anyone is going on a long trip, e.g. to Kernow, Scotland or France, if the driver had the phone number of someone on here and got stuck - then a "HELP!" post could be posted asking fur anyone local to go and render assistance, or to offer local knowledge and advice.

Hello Chaps, I for one think Mr Mad Hat Mans idea is simply spiffing, and I would not hesitate in dispatching any of my outside servants to alleviate any distressed fellow Range Rover Vogue owner in SE Cornwall. Jolly good show MHM
