course yer dint . the ferry is/was at a special bulk booking rate. if we start choping and changing everything the cost goes up. but if you dint need the ferry then yer dint pay fer it. plus it makes it easier to arrange if its all on one booking.
us deserters don't got to pay for the ferry just the camping and 4x4 center rates

I'm the same as grunt sounds fun but not sure my 90 would make the distance, cant even get round the m25, hence the extra hazard lights i have!!
perhaps we could do a tow relay take it in turns to break down!!

I live in normandy and should past my drivers licence in may and i'm just finishing restoring my series III, so i don't really have an excuse not to come.
you just have to give me the place of rendez-vous and i'll book in to the site spretly. SO COUNT ME IN!!!:eek:
 
wot time does tha ferry leave? shud make it but hold the ferry 4 a bit....need ta get a few things on the drive up
 
i am a complete novice at this ok i have tried the 4 wd system out a couple of times but i ant got any experience of this would this suit me ? i ant a pro like you old pros !! any approx cost in mind yet ?

Out standing!! after 2 years, did the trip happen? is it still on the cards? I would pay 500 for that. i wouldn't need the ferry as i am already here in Europe but I would pay it any way just to keep it simple. sounded like a good idea from what i read at the beginning of this EPIC thread

the trip never happened. slob and i went to a load of trouble organising all sorts, then folk started dropping out ands wanting to change bits so in the end we said "**** it"
