but if I catch it, then I've got to get the cage and to get the cage I've got to get on the floor and get close to it , and what if I haven't got it and it decides to run out at that moment and then I've got to get rid of it- I can see two serious flaws to that plan straight off :(

no ya dont, ya silly bint - it is captured in the trap - yu take the trap ouside, open the end, put it down and watch the mouse run away. then yu pick up the trap fur next time :).

I heard a rumour that the squiffels had got together with the mice in order to sort out the driver that recently muderised a squiffel.:behindsofa:
 
I would like to comment on what an unfriendly thing it is to call some respectable woman a silly bint . :eek:

Would also like to say that reminding someone of their traumatic squirrel killing incident is the height of insensitivity and also very unfriendly .:(

So all in all I agree with the OP - you're not my friends anymore and I'm going to tell my mum you've been mean to me :p

no, you must take it some way away, they can find their way back to a known source of food (cake) quite easily.

couple of miles should do it.

best thing to get a mouse out of the house is go in the shed and get the lawn strimmer out

Just give the cake to the mouse and put a half full bucket of water in the kitchen

Mouse eats cake, gets thirsty, falls in bucket, drowns
