Its not on lpg and i dont intent it to be either, it a family weekend/camping vehicle, I reckon im getting 17-18 mpg. i have a few other vehicles including a 200tdi defender. I dont think it does much less mpg than fender, although thets only used for laning.If your happy with it (and lets face it a v8 will always put a smile on your face) then it doesnt really matter what it cost to buy or run

Just wished to give you an update as I have now owned this car for about 6 weeks. I took it in to a Land Rover garage for a full service and got 1 or 2 small bits done. Took it to an auto gas garage and gave that a service two. There were a few issues so called the garage who knocked £800 off the original price so paid about £4,700 in end.

It has been a great fun motor ( so far) I know you guys think I paid too much but I am loving it!

Why so much moaning about it, if you cant afford to put the Right Fuel in it, then you probably should of bought a Robin Reliant or something along them lines... Disco 1 Diesel and 30-40 mpg and worth every penny..
