Hi
Just a quick one, I am in the process of replacing the gearbox on my 2003 4.4 petrol,
folowing the rave maual it says to remove the two bolts on the top of the bellhousing first and gives a line drawing of where they are, for the life of me I cant seem to figure out how to gain access to the two bolts, am I just being thick or is there somthing I'm missing.
Any pointers in the right direction or pictures on how to access these bolts would be great.

Cheers in advance.

Never worked on an l322 but I'm guessing that you will have to drop the rear of the gearbox to enable you to gain access to those bolts,a few long extensions also required as well

Possibly with a swivel knuckle joint on the end;)...

HI
thanks for the replies, after rereading rave i realised as Bemble has pointed out you have to remove the air intake plenem chamber first to access the the bolts, quite easy after that to remove them.
cheers again for the replies
