Im getting a knock when turning from left to right or right/left from what sounds like the front left of the car.I had the wheel off this morning and tightened up a little bit of play in the bearing.Whilst there i noticed some grease/oil on the swivel pin housing.
It almost feels like the knock occurs when that wheel is moving from verticle position.I dont have to turn hard, just normal round a slight bend,to get the knock.
Im wondering about swivel pin bearings or bushes?
Any ides please.
Regards
Terry.

one I had on mine similar sort of thing was the ring of front shocker turret bolts were loose on one side.
just an idea

hi there is it like a thumping noise when your turning a corner slow.
if so it`s your propshaft bearings.
i have just changed mine now alls fine
did mine on my own but it would be better with two people has tricky to hold propshaft up whilst removing bearings from under car..

Its at all speeds, when the wife is driving i can feel it through the footwell.
My prop shaft does have some slack in it,when i stick it in reverse i get a knock.Have checked the UJs but they look all right. The front D/S has a litlle bit of play when i try to turn it!.

could be many things, go have a look to rule some out. loose bolts/bushes, strut bearing, cv joint yadda yadda.

I have had a look and gone through the yada yada. Nothing moves by hand and nothing looks worn or broken.Im wondering if the swivel pin bearings failing could result in this kind of knocking!.

Easy to check, jack up wheel, turn to full lock so you can see the swivel housing, wobble wheel vertically. If the pin/bearings are fubar you'll see the movement

Bad cv will move when tugged and isnt really a knocking sound. If its really bad, you'll hear it straight as well. Check your springs aren't juddering

It wasn't directed at you, but being as you have commented your earlyer post says knock so is it a knock or a clonk if it is your cv on full lock you will get repeated clonks while moving , as someone said earler you can feel play only if its pretty bad .
Hope you sort it:)

had same prob few years back and it was the cv joint.i was going slow in asda turing in to parking bay and give big style.loss drive ended up using diff lock to get drive.
