I've got two remote key fobs for my P38 and one of them works fine, but the other one is a bit hit and miss. When you try to unlock the car, the central locking system will click and the lights flash but it won't actually unlock. This usually happens the first two times you try it, then on the third attempt the car will usually unlock properly. It seems to lock ok.

Any suggestions? And yes, I know it's not really much of a problem in the grand scheme of P38 things that can go wrong, but it is nice to fix even little things. Especially if it stops the wife complaining.

have you sync'd it?

Pretty sure it's not the battery, as I replaced batteries and buttons on both sets when I bought the car about a year ago. I haven't synced it; how do you do that?
