Went to view a P38 today........................and bought it!!

The new one is a 2000 (x) 4.6 Vogue.

Black with cream interior.

Only 55K miles on the clock.

Full service history and six months AA warranty.

It is immaculate inside and out.

He took mine out for a drive and then offered me £2000 for it P/X. I almost choked, but not before biting his hand off.:D

Pick it up next weekend.

im sure its a stunner by the sounds of it ;)

Agreed, pics, pics and more pics !!! Great find. Reminds of my 50th anniversary with only 45k miles on the clock, FSH and I got itfor around 3000 GBP.

Was an unfortunate victim of the recession and had to be sold, it was either have a roof on your head or keep the rangie, I was alright with living in the rangie, but the Mrs would hear anything about it :/

Missed out on a 2002 Vogue with LPG which w owned by the chairman of the Range Rover register. Gutting cos that was perfect..

Regardless of what you lot think I am really pleased.

My only worry is that it will not be as reliable as what I have now!

But at least it will be newer and I have learnt so much from this one that only the really ****ty faults will need expert help. I hope "DFR" ends up at a good home.

So he felt your current RR was worth £500 more than the one he was selling? That didn't raise any alarm bells for you?

Bix, £4500 plus mine (sorry I should have been clearer. that's beer for you!!)

And I'll be the third owner

Give the guy a break.
Enjoy the beauty of a Range Rover when they go well.
Come to the forum and advise how a good one gives good reliable and comfy service.

You could be running around in something else, but you have chosen a RR.

we are all here to help if we can, and to hear good stories if and when you have them.

Enjoy..
regards,.
