The 300tdi went through with no work last year, so it's bound to need something this year,
but how much.

Spent £380 on mine last week for mot , mostly welding, always wonder to keep or sell, if it had been much more, would have probs. got rid

I got a pass, they verbally advised that the N/S/R body mount has corrosion but it wasn't bad enough to write down.
So not a bad result.

How did you get on ?

MOT is a good thing, I reckon!
For more or less the reasons you describe!
Some of it is bull, like emissions test. But for the average driver, having a thorough check of safety items once a year is no bad thing.

We have no average drivers here. No wonder we don't have it.

Mine never got done as the new mot system they switched to over the weekend crashed and they could not log in, so re-booked for Wednesday at 4pm and she is all ready.

We passed with 2 advisories on small bits of rot starting around the rear arches up under the mud flap area, easy job for next year
