Had A Series 3 for some time and loved it - even although a tad slow, but as a former Army vehicle it was good. Now have a Freelender 2 so we can take our three Labradors on trips to coast etc' Purchased on 22 Feb just before shut down - to date just done 22 miles! My wife and I live in Leicestershire

Hi I’m someone that’s none of your business. I’ve recently bought a 2002 Freelander 1 and have joined this intro thread to ask what’s the biggest alloys I can fit on it. Do I need a snorkel?
Thanks, and if you can hurry up with replies that would be great.

Cheers

Welcome to Landyzone :D. Non of our business is not a valid statement. With 24 hours our stalkers will know everything about you including whether you Freelander is maintaining an appropriate 2 metre distance from ordinary cars. Please note this distance must be increased to 200 metres from Defenders so as not to embarrass them with having the same logo.

Of course you need a snorkel, everyone does. You don’t need to bother actually connecting it though as Freelander doors will fall off before water gets into the air filter.

As for the wheels, you can fit any size you want as long as the holes in them fit those stud things on the car. A nice set of mud terrains and you’ll be set for anything supermarket car parks can throw at you.
