Also satnav unit doesn’t work in roof. Not fussed but suspect it is another casualty of the previously leaking sunroof and I can take a look at some stage if I want to replace.

I think that is just the screen and the box is under the passenger seat, even if you get it working it will be crap and years out of date, but can be handy for the name of the road you are currently lost on!
Copy discs are hit and miss.

mines a 1999, 155000 miles on the clock, Ive owned it since 2006, done all the repaires, steering problem could just be dry ball joint if its been stood a long time, they are hard to do, but worth it, then new drag link and and tie bar, and like me you will be suprise at the new way it now handle I had at least 2inch side to side I guided it but after the new items were installed I had to learn how to drive it again
it all fix able the more you can do yourself the better for your pocket,

Thanks. think chassis issues and price in the end killed that one for me.

Short update. The guy hasn’t been able to sell.

has reduced the price from £3900 to £3250 dropping a bit each week.

I am tempted I must say although the wet driver’s floor is a worry. The other one I saw had wet floors throughout so I guess this is progress!

possably water coming in from the front cowl below the windscrean like I had if the headliner is not wet, you need to check for a rust hole near or below the glass of just a very loose grommet, were the cable for the windscrean heater go through I had both
Thanks. The second one I viewed had same but only on drivers side. There is rust starting to bubble paint on top of windscreen so that could be it?

Offer him 3k. The po of mine wanted 3500 and I offered 1600. About two months after he put it on the market, I got a call accepting 1600... Its cost me about 2200 in bits over the last 4 years, plus 800 on a set of tyres.

Pictures of the beast please.....
Here you go.
Very much enjoying driving although have noticed the temp gauge dropping occasionally. Going to top up coolant which is a bit low and go from there as I see there are lots of possible causes for this on the forum.

Totally amazed at the engine bay as I have been busy working on my 1987 LR 90 where what you see if what you get and what you get is not much!

Trying as suggested. See anything??
Nope!
Maybe resize smaller?
